Ruchika recently completed her Master of Science in Information Technology at the University of Texas at San Antonio in December 2024. She also holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications from Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab, India. Ruchika is passionate about software development, data analytics, and civic technology. She’s excited to join Better Futures Institute (BFI) to contribute to meaningful civic tech projects that empower communities and promote equity through data-driven insights. Her goal is to combine her technical skills with her interest in public service to create accessible, impactful solutions in underserved regions. Ruchika has prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, Graduate Administrative Assistant, and Junior Software Developer, and is currently serving as a Technical Program Coordinator at BFI, supporting the Civic Tech Scholars program.
