Ellen McCanless is a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying User Experience Design. Originally from San Antonio, she is passionate about using design and technology to create more accessible and equitable experiences. At the Better Futures Institute, Ellen is excited to explore how human-centered design can help improve public services and strengthen communities. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in product design focused on creating meaningful, real-world impact. Outside of design, she enjoys film production, traveling, and spending time with her cats, Oreo and Jingles.
